Fire Prevention
Life safety is the focus of present day fire departments. This area involves all of the proactive measures and services that the Garden City Fire Protection District provides to the community to prevent and reduce losses. This is addressed in many different ways. Our district provides community interaction and involvement through the national fire prevention week. We also conduct pre-plan evaluations of all commercial business’s within the district. This is an area that the fire district looks to expand its capabilities over the next five years.
